Review of Mothercare
Product range. Baby clothing, girls and boys clothing, as well as general merchandise, like nursery and bedroom accessories, that might come handy in caring for your children during the first ten years of their lives. Kids will enjoy the toys, while happy mothers will appreciate a comprehensive selection of quality outerwear. Customer feedback says that Mothercare coveralls are where the brand really shines.
Originality. Mothercare are a go-to destination for perplexed soon to become mothers. Comprehensive and diverse selection is an excellent guide to understand your needs. And you're most likely to underestimate them and their scope on your own. That said, Mothercare has some cons to it too. Common complaints are about delivery never reaching on time and sales assistants being awkward and reluctant to help you.
Chic. Mothercare are certainly not an equal or even a close rival to Zara kids, but, after all, do the latest trends really matter when it comes to choosing your kids outfits? Of much more importance is for T-shirt prints to be cute, for outerwear to keep warm, and for footwear to be waterproof. And they say Mothercare quality lives up to these expectations.
Pricing. Quite reasonable for the UK, but somewhat pricey for developing countries.
Corporate history highlights. Mothercare were founded by Selim Zilkha and James Golds in 1961. Just in a year, they managed to launch mail delivery service. Initially, Mothercare focused on prams, furniture, and general merchandise catered to expectant mothers. Later, however, the product range was notably extended to cover kids clothing and other related items. As of August 1, 2015, Mothercare boast over 1,200 stores in 61 countries.
