Review of Mango Man

Product range. Affordable shirts, T-shirts, knitwear, pants, blazers, outerwear, denimwear, undergarments, you name it. Mango Man stores offer a range of clothes from two-piece office suits to beachwear to jeans and jumper for a pub party. All pieces are clean-cut and come in essential colours. It would be a bit of a stretch to describe Mango Man as catering to the young (think Bershka, Pull and Bear, and the like), but they don't aim at dressing PwC executives either.

Chic and relevance. Even though Mango Man collections are anything but outstanding, the pieces are very versatile. Suits are not overly formal, T-shirts are only modestly colourful, while jeans rips are prudently decorative. Mango Man designers are not strangers to runways but are somewhat humbling so that unlike Zara, the brand offers no embroidered silk bomber jackets.

Pricing. On the average, two-piece suits are £100, shirts are £40, outerwear is £150.

Corporate history highlights. Mango Man was launched by Mango in 2008 as H.E. (renamed in 2014), yet it's unlikely to ever rise to stars and eventually to cash cows in Mango's portfolio. For most of us Mango is aligned with womenswear.
