Concise review of DLT

Size (Leasable area) of the shopping center, square meters: 32,000
The DLT department stores is owned by: European Capital Investment Fund

Product range: DLT is essentially a Saint Petersburg incarnation of TSUM with the product range that differs little or not at all from that of the latter. The department store is divided into several areas: the first level stocks cosmetics and jewellery, the second and third ones are secured by luxury heavyweights, the fourth level is how for more affordable labels and diffusion lines of well-established brands, while the fifth level is about all things cute childrenswear.

Originality: Apart from such brands as Valentino, Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, and Marni, DLT is also a stocklist of Alexander Wang, Acne, and Stone Island.

Relevance: absolutely up to date save for the unsold remnants of the previous seasons stock.

Pricing policy: DLT could best be described as the number one whopping shopping spree amusement park in Saint Petersburg.

Corporate history highlights: DLT, which stands for Dom Leningradskoy Torgovli (Leningrad Trade House), is the oldest deparment store in Saint Petersburg that was opened back in 1909. DLT served as a no-brainer for family shopping for the whole family and the number one kids shopping destination. This is the way it remained lodged in Petersburgians' collective memory: departments full of seductively colourful boxes, rationing and consumer goods in perpetual "short supply", waiting in long lines, trade fairs, and New Year bazaars. DLT was closed for renovation in 2006. In 2006-2012 it underwent renovation under the Mercury company. The historical building with its facades and interior designs was preserved but the department store itself was eventually revamped as a TSUM branch.
